Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Simplify Home, every project is planned through a structured design, commercial, and execution process. Since dedicated resources, site visits, design work, vendor coordination, and procurement commitments begin at different stages, cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the stage at which the request is received.

This Policy is a customer-facing summary. The applicable signed Commercial Offer Form, Works Contract, Annexures, and project-specific documents shall prevail in case of any difference or interpretation.

1. Cancellation Within 48 Hours of Booking

A project may be cancelled within 48 hours of booking, provided that:

  • Site measurement has not been conducted; and
  • The first design discussion has not taken place.

In such cases, 100% of the Booking / Design Commencement Payment shall be refundable, after deduction of any actual payment gateway charges, bank charges, or refund-processing charges, if applicable.

2. Cancellation After 48 Hours but Before Design Freeze

If cancellation is requested after 48 hours of booking but before Design Freeze, any refund, if applicable, shall be processed after deducting costs already incurred by Simplify Home, including:

  • Design fees and design effort;
  • Site visit or measurement charges;
  • Coordination and administrative costs; and
  • Third-party expenses incurred for the project.

In all such cases, Simplify Home shall retain a minimum of 70% of the Booking / Design Commencement Payment.

3. Cancellation After Design Freeze or Procurement Commitment

Once any of the following has occurred:

  • Design Freeze;
  • Procurement initiation;
  • Manufacturing or production release;
  • Vendor commitment; or
  • Any irreversible project-related cost commitment.

no refund shall be payable for the committed scope.

The Client shall remain liable for all amounts already incurred or committed by Simplify Home, including custom manufacturing costs, vendor payments, work already executed, storage charges, demobilization or remobilization costs, taxes, and other applicable project expenses.

4. Non-Refundable Costs and Commitments

The following shall be treated as non-refundable once incurred or committed on the

Client’s behalf:

  • Third-party fees;
  • Deposits, permits, or licenses;
  • Vendor advances;
  • Mobilization charges;
  • Sampling costs;
  • Custom-made items; and
  • Committed procurement or project-specific expenses.

5. De-Scoping After Procurement

Once procurement, manufacturing, ordering, or any other irreversible commitment has begun for a particular item, that item cannot be de-scoped, withdrawn, or cancelled except at Simplify Home’s sole discretion.

Where such an exception is approved, it shall be subject to recovery of all committed costs, vendor payments, design effort, handling charges, storage charges, and related losses.

6. Submission of Cancellation Requests

7. Review of Cancellation and Refund Eligibility

Simplify Home reserves the right to review each cancellation request and determine refund eligibility based on:

  • the stage of project progress;
  • design, site, and coordination work already completed;
  • procurement or vendor commitments already made; and
  • the applicable signed project documents.
